‘Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s’ Mockingbird Almost Got Her Own Show
‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ is over but fans cannot get over it just yet. The show was a regular fix for all the Mavel fanatics who loved ‘Avengers’ from the core of their heart. Phil Coulson’s team solved myriad range of cases and tackled situations for seven years.
There were a lot of faces that graced the show as separate storylines and cameos. Some were quite memorable while the others were not so much. However, one of those faces that made quite an impression on the minds of fans was that of Mockingbird. Adrianne Palicki played the character of Bobbi Morse aka Mockingbird and won several hearts.
Though she left the show quite early, she almost had her own spinoff show. Yes, a lot of people do not know about it, but it is actually true. Geoff Thorne shared on Twitter that several years ago, he wrote the pilot of the Mockingbird TV show that was to star Palicki in lead role. Geoff is currently the writer of ‘Power Book II: Ghost’.
Adrianne had showed interest earlier in the project as well. In fact, she retweeted Geoff’s tweet immediately. The show would have shown Bobbi Morse in her teenage years. And there is no one else who could have done better justice to the role Adrianne Palicki. Maybe, ABC should pick the forgotten show once again now that ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ is off-air.
