‘Knots Landing’ Star Kevin Dobson Dies At Age 77

Kevin Dobson passed away at the age of 77. The actor is best known for his roles in ‘Knots Landing’ as Mack, ‘Kojak’ as Detective Bobby Crocker, and in ‘Day of Our Lives’ as Mickey Horton. The United Veterans Council of San Joaquin County officially announced the demise of the talented star.

Kevin was the chairman of the San Joaquin County group and served in the Army proudly. He initiated the 2020 Virtual Parade for 4th of July with a video and said that he loved serving for his nation in the Army. Before all the stardom and fame, Dobson worked as a brakeman and conductor on Long Island Railroad. He also played baseball professionally and was in politics during the Vietnam era.

He breakthrough performance can in 1968 when he performed the role of Gov. Harrison Brooks in ‘One Life to Live’. He later shared screen with Charlton Heston, Henry Fonda, and James Coburn in ‘Midway’ in 1976.

Kevin was married to Susan Dobson for almost five decades. The couple shared three kids – Mariah, Patrick, and Sean – together and five grandkids – Brady, Stella, Marlowe, Tiegan, and Rylan. The official commemorating notice reads, ‘If you love America, Thank a Vet’. We thank Kevin Dobson for everything he did and pray that his soul rest in peace.
