Marie Osmond Will Not Return For ‘The Talks’ Season 2
Marie Osmond has decided to quit ‘The Talk’ after season 1. The star will no longer be returning to co-host the show for its next season. She was working with her co-hosts Eve, Carrie Ann Inaba, Sharon Osbourne, and Sheryl Underwood. Marie had replaced Sara Gilbert last year itself.
Marie cites the reason to quit the show is her other projects that she wants to focus on along with her family and husband. She says the major reason she was co-hosting the daytime talk show was because of her friend John Redmann. However, she has other projects lined up with Redmann to work on now.
Marie stated that she just dropped off her youngest two kids to college. After that, she looked at her husband and they both simply laughed. It was the realization that they had not been this alone since 1982! That’s when the star decided to take some time off and spend it with him, kids, and grandkids.
CBS wished Marie all the very best in her future endeavors. They thanked her for the wonderful time they had with her, her wits, insight, and talent that she shared with the team and audience. ‘The Talk’ will continue with the remaining co-hosts till the time they find a replacement.
