Why ‘The Boys’ Stan Edgar Is Not Scared of Homelander? Giancarlo Esposito Explains
If you have not watched the first three episodes of ‘The Boys’ season 2, some major spoilers are awaiting for you. One of the biggest twists that the series revealed this season was that of Stormfront’s character. It was revealed that Aya Cash plays Stormfront instead of a man.
Homelander, played by Antony Starr confronted the Seven’s leader, Stan Edgar (Giancarlo Esposito) about the decision. However, Stan stood his ground. Stan is the only character on the show who is not afraid of Homelander, or maybe fears him the least. When Giancarlo was asked the reason behind it, he had some interesting explanation.
Espocito explained that Stan looks at Homelander as a manchild with simple yet kiddish urges. When asked if Stan is truly fearless when it comes to Homelander, Espacito again had a very interesting take on the matter. He says that Stan truly does not fear Homelander at all.
Giancarlo is obviously scared of Homelander and the things he can do but not Stan as he has got compound V in his blood. Moreover, whenever he has to deal with Homelander, Stan just has to remind himself that he is talking to a child but with respect.
